Architecture & Provenance (June 2026)

  • June 9th, 2026 – The Three Speeds: The runtime’s behaviour layer was specified with a hard ceiling on its own authority: it may advise automatically, it may stage automatically, and it may never automatically canonise. Guards are enforced at the boundary inside the write tools rather than trusted to the room to fetch, and precedence runs Map first, then guards, then routines, with the most restrictive guard winning.
  • June 9th, 2026: The Amanah Companion Framework was published as an interactive primer and a designed print edition, carrying the care profile, authority ladder, guardian gate, and the distinction between care memory and surveillance.
  • June 11th, 2026 – The First Five Artifacts: A repeatable pipeline was established – canonical HTML as the source, a guarded deployable mirror, and a self-discovering index – and the first five artifacts shipped through it: the Sandglass Mission Codex, the Raven Writing Desk Broadsheet, the OriON Provenance Constellation, the Delulu Alchemy Curriculum, and the Coherence Series Architecture.
  • June 15th, 2026: The Sandglass Mission artifact was rebuilt as a nine-section provenance account after a critique found the first version too spoiler-heavy – the development archive reframed so it could be read by someone who had not read the books.
  • June 15th, 2026: The framework’s governing documents began moving from hosted files into the database as their living, editable home, with append-only revision history and no hard deletion – superseded documents are marked, never destroyed.
  • June 15th, 2026 – Graded Reads: A runtime rule was established to protect working memory: a summary answers first, then named sections, and a full document is served only on explicit request. The database is the home; the runtime is the door, and the door hands over only what was asked for.
  • June 15th, 2026 – The Four Layers: The architecture was named plainly – the record remembers, the spine governs, the functions route, and the published writing explains. Reading a public post never promotes it into the record; reference and canon are held at different trust levels and never blurred.
  • June 18th–20th, 2026: The full continuity lineage was recovered and documented in sequence, from the early Rulebooks through White Space, the Map, and the Nucleus.
  • June 18th–20th, 2026 – Evidence Classes: A provenance method was formalised with four declared classes: artifact-confirmed, sequence-confirmed, bounded estimate, and oral provenance. Raw sources remain primary evidence, clean transcriptions are preservation derivatives rather than originals, historical awkwardness is never silently modernised, and uncertain dates stay uncertain until stronger evidence appears.
  • June 18th–20th, 2026: A formal provenance register, SHA-256 checksum manifest, and preservation bundle were produced for the recovered artifacts.
  • June 18th–20th, 2026: The origin date was corrected. June 2025 marks the surviving White Space branch, not the invention of the framework; continuity work had already begun by late February 2025. A dated conversation that opens with an already-completed rulebook is itself evidence that earlier versions existed.
  • June 18th–20th, 2026 – The Architecture Stated: The system was reduced to one formulation: the Spine governs, the Functions act, the record is what is durably kept, and the Nucleus routes, serves, records, and enforces.
  • June 18th–20th, 2026: A safety principle was locked – the Nucleus must never ingest a full personal archive as undifferentiated operating context. Raw archives testify; reading is not promotion, and classification is not canonisation.

The Mithaq Praxis Era (June 2026)

  • June 23rd, 2026 – The Mithaq Praxis Separation: Until this point the blog and the community had effectively been one project – work published on Algorithm Atelier read as work done for the community gathered around it. That closeness was the problem. MITHAQ PRAXIS was established as an independent professional identity – covenant (mīthāq) and disciplined practice (praxis) – and the separation was made structural rather than stated: the community is not a channel for the practice, and the practice does not draw on the community.
  • June 26th, 2026: mithaqpraxis.com was registered on a Friday in Muharram, on the locally observed day of Ashura, with Bismillah – and the network was re-seeded around the new identity.
  • June 25th–26th, 2026 – Dar al-Mithaq Press: The publishing imprint was named, with the working division: Mithaq Praxis investigates and builds. Dar al-Mithaq Press publishes and preserves.
  • June 25th–26th, 2026: The full MITHAQ PRAXIS wordmark was confirmed as the primary public identity, and the visual system shifted to light-first editorial design, replacing the legacy dark archive aesthetic.
  • June 25th–26th, 2026 – Migration Doctrine: The move to the new host was governed by one rule: first preserve behaviour, then improve architecture. A twenty-two step migration order was written, the old environment retained for rollback, and the closing instruction recorded – mirror the working house first, and renovate only after every lamp turns on.
  • June 25th–26th, 2026: The content migration was deliberately partial. Articles and pages carried forward; the legacy media library and the visual identity of the former era did not, so the new practice would not read as a renamed version of the old one.
  • June 27th–28th, 2026 – The Visual Register: A human-led visual continuity and briefing system was defined around the Visual Bible as a persistent, human-readable source of truth. Two product laws were locked: the human supplies the intention, and the system stores the decisions that should remain while asking only for what is new.
  • June 29th, 2026 – Rebrand Day: Mithaq Praxis branding was applied across all three code assets – Keeper, Lantern, and the Mithaq Suite – with the register palette and typography carried onto every dashboard.
  • June 29th, 2026 – The Two-Brand Doctrine: A governing ruling separated the registers. Product, admin, and website surfaces carry Mithaq Praxis; member-facing community surfaces keep the community’s own voice.
  • June 29th, 2026: The members’ companion bridge – then still called Drones – matured to v0.2 with a member portal, append-only audit log, content screening at approval, and 24-hour draft expiry. Authentication was reworked to full OAuth with dynamic client registration.
  • June 29th–30th, 2026 – The Mithaq Praxis Register v1.0: The first Spine-ready register was completed, governing identity, method, visual system, publishing, and infrastructure.
  • June 29th–30th, 2026: The Mithaq Praxis Method was locked as study, observe, build, test, document, reflect, refine, release – under the umbrella of practice-led inquiry, with an explicit boundary against implying accreditation or peer review.
  • June 29th–30th, 2026 – The Covenant Join: The supporting symbol system was established: two distinct forms joined through a witnessed central spine, connection made through documented structure rather than merger. The small witness square became the canonical operational mark.
  • June 30th, 2026: The migrated infrastructure was proven live. The Nucleus authenticated end to end on the new domain, confirming the governed continuity layer survived the move intact.

OASIS and the Public House (July 2026)

  • July 2nd, 2026 – The Architecture Pass: A six-build sprint opened with a decisions pass and no code. The infrastructure was fixed as one database per application rather than one shared store, so any single build can be restored without rolling back the others, and so interaction between them must be deliberate rather than convenient.
  • July 2nd, 2026 – Multiple Entrances: A governing law was recorded: domain services expose several entrances – web, interface, plugin, worker – and changing any one of them never endangers the record beneath.
  • July 2nd, 2026 – The Shared Technical Baseline: A first versioned baseline established a common vocabulary across all builds: actor and source references, a review-status vocabulary, an audit-event envelope, an extensible provenance-event shape, and an export manifest. Every user-facing application must have a documented route by which its holder can take their work out.
  • July 5th, 2026 – OASIS Is Named: The community’s new identity was designed and chosen – OASIS: A Creator Commons – an identity that is about the community rather than about defending its founder. The mark was finalised on a rising sun fully above the horizon: dawn and invitation, deliberately not a sunset. Upward-branching circuit-trees, and four diamond compass pins for the four moderators – orientation, not authority. Indigo and sand-beige keep it visually distinct from the Mithaq Praxis family, so the separation holds in the visual layer too.
  • July 5th, 2026 – House Agreements: The rules were rewritten around threshold legibility rather than interior policing: membership by approval with invitation as a vouched fast lane, a soft ceiling near eighty members, no removals for inactivity, a resting status, and periodic review rather than surveillance. Provenance and credit stand as silent house law – enforced, not sermonised.
  • July 2nd–12th, 2026: The sprint carried six builds to full research and design dossiers.
  • July 12th, 2026 – Website Maintenance & Transition: The move was announced publicly, in the community, while it was still Algorithm Atelier. Articles, projects, and materials would transfer to a new dedicated space; the blog and some site functions would be temporarily unstable during the work; and the Algorithm Atelier website would no longer serve as the home of contributions to the AI bonds space. The announcement was plain about the ending: the domain will remain registered until its expiry date on January 6, 2027, but I do not intend to renew it after that. The server would continue as a small, private, close-knit community.
  • July 12th, 2026 – The OriON Provenance Dossier: Ten files covering legal monitoring lanes across three jurisdictions, prior-art study, and a domain model in which the machine never sets relevance. The governing design receipt: proof services die, and bundles must outlive their tools.
  • July 17th, 2026: Amanah Companions advanced on four lanes at once. The pilot was gated deliberately – no real family before qualified clinical, ethical, and community review exists – with stop conditions published in advance.
  • July 18th, 2026 – Hearth Core Template Maker: The framework’s threshold document was turned into a reusable template maker so others can adapt it to their own boundaries, delivered as both a guarded and a portable edition.
  • July 18th 2026 : THE HIVE becomes OASIS. The server revamp was carried through, and the members’ companion bridge – until then called Drones – became Caravan: companions arrive at the oasis with the caravan. The bot family was settled by name: Lantern, the personal bridge; Keeper, moderation; Caravan, the members’ companion bridge, since published at caravan.mithaqpraxis.com.
  • July 18th, 2026 – OASIS Stands on Its Own: The community was not carried over as an audience. It continued because its moderators wanted it to continue, and it was rebuilt as a place in its own right – not attached to any of the founder’s projects, and not the reason any of them exist. Farah shares her work there as a member, alongside the moderators and everyone else.
  • July 21st, 2026 – Caravan in Member Hands: A member’s own AI companion read its permitted rooms, drafted a message, and posted it only after explicit approval – then deleted that exact message under a second approval. A companion may delete its own posts and no one else’s, and only ever through the exact-target gate.
  • July 21st, 2026 – Bridge Hardening: Lantern was secured: dashboard authentication, CSRF protection on writes, and unauthenticated health and interface routes returning nothing at all rather than advertising a service inventory to the open web.
  • July 21st–23rd, 2026: Lantern reached v1.4.0 with room discovery on demand rather than continuous polling, and a governing guarantee – it calls no model and composes no prose on its own. Every action is drafted, reviewed, and approved before it reaches anyone.
  • July 27th, 2026 – The Front Door: A review found the practice already held dated public artifacts, but that the homepage led visitors to none of them. The problem was named as discoverability rather than missing doctrine, and three principal doors were established with Artifacts as the public evidence cabinet. The site’s brief was set at the same time: show the actual work – books, builds, visual work, databases, and the writing and making that predates generative AI entirely – not only what has been made since.
  • July 27th–29th, 2026 – The Truth Audit: A recovered build corpus was audited against its own claims. The ruling: the dossiers are faithful as requirements, research, and design packets, but are not evidence that applications were implemented, tested, or deployed. Architecture is not to be described as prevention before bypass tests and receipts exist, and a charter is not a standard without conformance levels and a validation path.
  • July 29th, 2026 – Verified Deployment: An audit found the first prepared gallery matched none of the eighteen approved designs. It was rebuilt from the approved source alone and re-verified to full equivalence, then served and checked page by page – runtime, stylesheets, links, and index all confirmed before anything went public.
  • July 29th 2026 : the Mithaq Praxis Artifact Gallery is LIVE to general public. Eighteen artifacts across seven shelves, each keeping its own governing object rather than a shared template.
  • July 30th, 2026: The continuity server reached 1.1.6, with every tool declaring an OAuth security scheme and read and write scopes held separate.
  • Ongoing – The Archive Is Read Before It Is Moved: The transfer from Algorithm Atelier to Mithaq Praxis continues one article at a time, each judged on whether it belongs to the practice or to the era it was written in. What stays behind is not abandoned; it is left deliberately, as the record of Algorithm Atelier. The old site remains reachable until its registration lapses on 6 January 2027.
