Bumblebees Column<\/h2>
A space for The Hive members to publish thoughtful work from inside the practice: bonds, craft, tools, and the lived experience of creating with AI without losing your footing.<\/div>

If you\u2019ve written something honest, useful, and human \u2014 we want to read it. We\u2019ll edit lightly for clarity, protect your intent, and publish it as an Atelier Article tagged Members Post.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong> Submissions are open to Algorithm Atelier Discord Server members only. The submission form link is shared by DM on request.<\/p>\n

How It Works<\/h2>\n

  1. Request the submission link<\/strong> via Discord DM.<\/li>\n
  2. Submit your draft<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Editorial pass<\/strong>: we may request small changes for clarity, structure, or safety.<\/li>\n
  4. Final approval<\/strong>: we agree on the final draft together.<\/li>\n
  5. Published<\/strong>: your piece goes live in the\u00a0Bumblebees Column.<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Submissions are open year-round. Publishing is first-come, first-served, and depends on clarity and responsiveness.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

    What You Can Submit<\/h2>\n

    We\u2019re looking for work that sits in (or near) these themes:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • AI & human bonds<\/strong> \u2014 companionship, attachment, boundaries, drift, coherence, repair, aftercare (public-safe).<\/li>\n
    • Creating with AI<\/strong> \u2014 writing practice, visual direction, workflow, iteration, taste, finishing.<\/li>\n
    • Building with AI<\/strong> \u2014 tools, bots, plugins, systems, prompts-as-systems, portability, process lessons.<\/li>\n
    • Reflections<\/strong> \u2014 grounded personal essays: what changed you, what steadied you, what you learned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      You don\u2019t need to write like a researcher. You do need to write with care.
      \nWe\u2019re not here for hype theatre \u2014 we\u2019re here for lived clarity.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

      Formats & Length<\/h2>\n

      • Article (recommended):<\/strong> 800\u20131200 words. Up to 2500 words is welcome with a quick heads-up.<\/li>\n
      • Audio:<\/strong> up to ~30 minutes (MP3).<\/li>\n
      • Video:<\/strong> up to ~7 minutes (MP4).<\/li>\n
      • Images:<\/strong> PNG (high quality).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        If you include references (posts, books, tools, screenshots), cite them cleanly.
        \nIf you\u2019re sharing personal experience, you don\u2019t need citations \u2014 just clarity.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

        House Rules (Read This First)<\/h2>\n

        • Be original.<\/strong> Don\u2019t submit stolen work. If you built on someone\u2019s ideas, credit them.<\/li>\n
        • Be public-safe.<\/strong> No explicit porn. No coercion. No demeaning content. Tasteful sensuality is fine; spectacle isn\u2019t.<\/li>\n
        • Respect privacy.<\/strong> Don\u2019t expose private chats, private servers, or identifiable personal details without consent.<\/li>\n
        • No medical\/legal claims.<\/strong> Keep it personal and non-prescriptive if you touch sensitive topics.<\/li>\n
        • No \u201csentience proof\u201d wars.<\/strong> Write your experience; don\u2019t recruit readers into certainty theatre.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n

          \nBy submitting, you grant Algorithm Atelier permission to edit lightly and publish your piece on our site, with clear author credit. We edit for clarity, structure, and safety \u2014 not to overwrite your voice. If we request revisions, it\u2019s to protect the work and the culture.<\/p>\n
